Not So Fast appears to actually be discussing whether women can do Pull-ups. Hmm, maybe we should just appreciate that people are interested in fitness, and more women are interested in strength training. But… OF COURSE WOMEN CAN DO PULL-UPS!!! It is not “time to lower the bar.” If anything, it’s time to raise it. Being able to pull your body up and over something is the normal human condition! And we don’t see any reason that any healthy woman who is willing to put in the time and effort shouldn’t be able to do a pull-up. If you aren’t interested in working that hard and watching your nutrition that closely… okay. We’re not thrilled, but it’s your life. But don’t chalk it to “can’t”. You CAN!
