2012 at Gateway CrossFit brought some great things for some great people. All of our clients have been working hard and deserve a pat on the back. Here are some highlights of what the right exercise and nutrition can do:
-Lisa P came in to lose weight and get in shape. She lost 40 pounds and went from a size 14 to a size 4! She also pulled a 5×150# deadlift!
-Michele P came in to gain strength and speed for running marathons. With 3 months of training at Gateway CrossFit she dropped 16 minutes off her marathon time! She also recovered so quickly she was back to road work in 3 days.
-John D came in to gain strength. He added 60# to his Press; went from 405# to 455# on his deadlift, and went from doing ¾ Back Squats to legit below-parallel at the same weight!
-Jeanne M came in to lose weight and get fit. In 2 months she’s lost 16 pounds, her lifting form has improved dramatically, and her work capacity is night and day.
-Laura G came in to lose weight and look great for her wedding. She went from a size 6 to a size 2 and her back looked incredible in her strapless gown!
-Roseanne M came in to lose weight. She lost 35 pounds!
-Erica F came in to gain strength to improve her running. So far she went from a 15# Goblet Squat to a 110# Back Squat.
-Alex I came in to gain strength and power for her Senior season in Track. She’s put on 5# of solid muscle and doubled her Back Squat; now doing a 5 rep Back Squat at 1x bodyweight!
-Chuck V came in to get stronger and more fit. His 2-rep Press went from 75# to 185#, and his 3-rep Back Squat went from 150# to 355#!
