Hmmm… it’s kinda like driving a car, or using a curling iron, or… just about anything, in that the answer is, “not when done properly.” Of course, that’s not to say accidents don’t happen. They happen all the time, and in all activities. That’s why they’re called accidents. But two things stand out for us. 1. The more training you have, and the more care you put into an activity, the less likely you are to make a mistake and get injured. 2. Strong people are likely to be injured to a lesser degree by equivalent trauma, and they are likely to recover much more quickly. CrossFit-based Personal Training at Gateway CrossFit is excellent in regards to both of those points.
BTW, Erin is recovering from a stress fracture from [I’ll bet some of you guessed it] running. BUT, she’s on the mend and back in the weight room. And as you can see, her form is intact! Nice job, Erin!
