Maybe your goal this year is to do Pull-ups. We start with Ring Rows of gradually increasing difficulty, and then progress to Assisted Pull-ups with “jump bands”. Eventually we work congruently with strict unassisted Pull-ups and learning the Kipping Pull-up. One way to practice the unassisted Kipping Pull-up is with the band.
